Tbf does sound like they are open to offers of help. Will be drafting a letter to them this week with some ideas and the offer to help however I can. If they're open to hearing it, I'm more than happy to work on formulating the ideas and present them in a more in depth way. They said they've not personally been aware of the offers of help in the past. No one could answer who the offers were made to and who said no, so does make you wonder if messages via social media haven't been passed on You will be disappointed by the feedback you get. They ain’t interested one bit. No one has come forward to run a supporters club. Reality is they disbanded the old one and went out if their way to ignore the unofficial one that followed. I wouldn’t believe half of what they came out with tonight TBH. They ain’t gonna change, wish I was wrong but their track record says I’m not.

That was pretty poor, nothing asked on Todd, too many questions answered “we’re always looking for people to help” countered from the crowd people saying they have offered and that was met with the shrugging off shoulders from the stage.
Key points for:
Pretty much confirmed Todd still coach next year.
Family season ticket coming in.
Prepared to continue signing brits from elsewhere.
No plan on how to develop our own youngsters.
Need 2000 through the door to run the club how they want and make the changes necessary throughout the season.
I’d like to say first, Tam and Jack have kept flyers alive through some tragic times, which they need saluted for, however to me that looked like a couple old school men who were out their depth in the modern sporting world tonight, which is a shame but ultimately nothing’s going to change with those guys at the helm.

IMO they genuinely seemed surprised that people have volunteered their services in the past but they have not been aware of it. So the questions to ask, like you say, there are who has unilaterally decided to reject these offers of help, why have Jack and Tom not seen these and it is literally their club how are they not aware of what is going on in it?

Yep pretty much the same from me. Felt like we didn't learn anything new at all. Neither of them knew how to work or hold a room and they didn't look at all prepared for the evening They looked very uncomfortable They didn't seem to know how to answer the questions. There was no statement on the current predicament and what their plans are for next year or the year after, no vision from them on how they want to take the club forward other than say that they were open to ideas

Can only echo the comments already made on the night - absolutely depressing.
If anything it just confirmed worst fears about how the club is run and I was genuinely gobsmacked at points of the night.
The 2 Directors seem like 2 thoroughly decent guys - I’m sure they are, but my God this club has major problems. Tam in particular looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. Ali seemed to be answering most of the questions at times or putting his own spin on things. He did give me my highlight of the night through by telling us all that Flyers social media team have a double checking proof reading system before tweets and fb messages are released which hadn’t been as effective as they’d hoped! Confirmed that he could not guarantee going forward that mistakes wouldn’t continue to be made regularly.
Anyone who went in there with a few questions in mind would have been disheartened pretty quickly. Utterly pointless asking anything.

Ali did absolutely nothing to cover himself in glory tonight, my guess is he’s as big a problem as anyone else

Ali did absolutely nothing to cover himself in glory tonight, my guess is he’s as big a problem as anyone else I’m sure he has a role to play but definitely needs stood down from all the interviewing stuff etc. He should not have hosted tonight’s event- has too much of a vested interested in covering up some of the inadequacies within the club. Not sure he was entitled to mute the guy who wanted to discuss the DJ during the ‘match-night experience’ segment either tbh.

Right after Hutchins was absolutely ripped into. Im done with this club and 100% wont be renewing my season ticket.

Ali did absolutely nothing to cover himself in glory tonight, my guess is he’s as big a problem as anyone else One of the main problems..look how he blustered when asked what happened to the emails of the folk who offered to help..and his censoring of a fan who has a legitimate question about his pal the DJ as he was not wanting names named unless it was complimenting him...just after Hutchins had been assassinated by some of the crowd..total clique that needs dismembered for the good of the club.

The bit where he said he would only allow something to be said if it was a compliment .... that kind of summed up the night!! Just incredible.

Maybe someone could have advised Tam & Jack that a way to approach the night was to start with an "address to the nation". The key questions were out there, they had the time to prepare whatever response they wanted, put their version of events forward, BS or not BS as much as they wanted but it was a chance to show some empathy with the audience and more importantly leadership.
That's what depressed me the most.
Rudderless would be worrying enough had there also not been so many leaks having sprung.
It's all very well saying nothing changes until they sell but I shudder to think what state the while thing will be in by then and if it's even salvagable.
In the meantime it's no use just sitting back and accepting no change, we should talk with them, email, write letters, organise initiatives that are within our control as fans. Whatever it my be but positive ideas and who knows the penny might still drop. Yes some have already tried, well try again.
Anything less and we are as complicit as they are if the current direction of travel continues.

That show of concern from so many people in itself should be enough to trigger a response. I’m not convinced it will - and there’s the problem. I don’t think they key questions were asked in the right way to be honest, but you’re right - the Directors had a chance to use them as a starting point to put across all kinds of positive messages but didn’t. Most questions weren’t answered at all or with very blunt responses. They were fobbing them off- they didn’t want to be there. The employment of a GM is for me the only hope we have.

That was half our attendance for recent home games turned up tonight, that’s quite incredible as you say
